Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dan kinerja karyawan melalui pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi literatur. Dengan menganalisis penelitian empiris terbaru dari lima tahun terakhir, studi ini mengidentifikasi dampak gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, transaksional, pelayan, dan demokratis terhadap kinerja karyawan. Metode studi literatur sistematis digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan mensintesis temuan dari artikel penelitian yang relevan, berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yang ketat, termasuk kualitas metodologi dan relevansi topik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional secara signifikan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan melalui peningkatan motivasi dan inovasi. Kepemimpinan transaksional efektif dalam jangka pendek tetapi kurang efektif dalam mempertahankan keterlibatan jangka panjang. Kepemimpinan pelayan dan demokratis berkontribusi pada kepuasan kerja dan keterikatan karyawan. Transformasi digital memunculkan kebutuhan akan kepemimpinan digital yang menggabungkan keterampilan teknologi dengan kemampuan kepemimpinan tradisional. Implikasi praktis menekankan perlunya organisasi menyesuaikan gaya kepemimpinan dengan konteks dan kebutuhan mereka. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini memperkaya literatur kepemimpinan dengan memberikan wawasan baru tentang pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan di era digital dan menyarankan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengeksplorasi peran kepemimpinan digital di masa depan.
